Introduction
Gopinath singh B.Ed college, Latdag, Meral,Garhwa is a self financed institution which is established and managed by Gopinath singh Jan Seva Trust, Garhwa a charitable trust devoted for human welfare and upliftment of society in various field of education i.e. B.Ed, D.El.Ed. Course both for boys and girls student which is recognized by NCTE Bhuvneshwar.

Shaping and re- activing honored character of a teacher
To prepare committed and promised teacher for secondary level.
To offer an all round training i.e. Mental, Physical, Moral, Cultural and Spiritual.
To impart training for preparing nationalism at secondary stages in schools.
Location
Gopinath Singh B.Ed College is located at Village Latdag, Po Latdag, Ps Meral, Dist Garhwa. Its surrounding is bounded hill and river projecting a beautiful atmosphere. The location is connected with road and railways. The College is at distance of hardly 16 K.M from Garhwa Town and 5K.M from Meral Railway Station. The area is peaceful and calm for a healthy academic atmosphere and it could be said that is a gift of nature.
Duration of Course
- The course if for one academic session.
- There shall be at least 160 teaching days in a year exclusive of period of admission, examination etc. Beside every trainee shall require undergoing internship in teaching (including practice teaching and skill development) for 40 days in nearby Secondary/Senior Secondary School.
- Class timing: Normal day time.
Intake
Only 100 students will be admitted in one academic year. Reservation in admission as pe policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be adopted
